Community Submissions: How They Work
Much of what you see here was found by the community, ebay, or personally witnessed by Salt Bros. A submission is simply a collector telling us about a comic cut they pulled, bought, or spotted in the wild, so it can be recorded in the public database. Anyone can submit — you do not need a membership or an account. There are many legacy sets that were started before the website existed. We did not support images then so you may see hits without a supplied image or even any details. Our trackers have since evolved into what they are today. It's not just a database - it's a wealth of knowledge for those who continue to chase.
How to submit a discovery
Find the comic cut in the checklist and use the report option on it, or open the submission form directly. You can also search for the specific card using the global search. From there, Use the Report Hit button. Tell us the set, the card, when and where it surfaced, and attach a clear photo of the card. A photo showing the full front of the card is what makes a submission usable. Reminder - we only track 1/1s.
How verification works
Nothing publishes automatically. Every submission enters a review queue where a Salt Bros admin checks the card against the set checklist and the supplied image. Approved submissions are marked as a verified hit with the date and the finder's credit; anything we cannot confirm stays unverified or is declined. This is why a listed card may show as "not hit" even after you have seen it online.
What we collect, and how we use it
We ask for the card details, your card image, a name or handle, an optional social link, and an email address so we can follow up about that submission. Card details, photos, credit names and social links may appear publicly on the card's entry. Your email address is never published — it is used only to contact you about your submission.
